Keith Winkler (left) and Merle Birch (right) ran the parts department. The old card file had over 33,000 parts inventory cards that were replaced by our first computer in 1989.

1979

In 1979 Lowe & Young became a corporation when Roy Lowe Jr sold his stock to Walter Stutz (left) and Carlton Steiner (right). Don Young (center) was the president.

We took on the Ford line of tractors, which grew the business again

Carlton Steiner retired

Carlton Steiner retired as President/CEO and sold his majority stock position to the current owners, Bill Hartzler, Jason Steiner, Craig Forrer and Bill Boreman.
